Onderstaand bericht ontvingen wij van Leaseweb, onze datacenter provider,

Dear customer,

This letter is to inform you that the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) provided us with a list of email addresses of which the passwords have been compromised. These passwords were used to log onto recently hacked websites. For more information, provided by the Dutch government, please visit https://www.ncsc.nl/actueel/nieuwsberichten/ncsc-verkrijgt-nederlandse-gegevens-van-hold-security.html As a result of this security breach, these email addresses and corresponding passwords have been exposed to third parties. There are a few steps that you can take to limit the potential damage.

1) Change the passwords immediately for all instances that you use with the compromised email addresses. It is recommended to change your passwords periodically and use different logins/password combinations for your online services. 2) Be vigilant and on the lookout for irregular activities regarding your online services, such as online banking activities. In case you notice any irregular activities, please notify your internet provider and bank immediately.

3) If any work related information is compromised, such as your business email, please notify your employer. This way, your employer is aware of the security breach and can take appropriate measures. Below you will find a list of email addresses of which the email record references to one of your servers.
